The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in General Business is for those who want an overview of business without in-depth knowledge in a particular discipline. This degree is a strong complement to studies in technical areas (digital, cinema, graphic design, or engineering). Students may choose Applied Business Programming, Economics, or Leadership as minor fields of study with this major.
The baccalaureate program in General Business requires 120 minimum total semester hours including courses from four categories: (1) the Core Curriculum, (2) the Business Division Core, (3) the General Business Core, and (4) a minor field of study or electives sufficient to achieve the required minimum total hours.
Students majoring in programs outside of the College of Business may choose Business Administration or Applied Business Programming as a minor field of study.
Students must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.25 in all College of Business course work and in each minor.
