JBU Christian Ministry and Formation graduates are currently working as Chaplains, Child and Family Ministers, Christian School Teachers, Cross-Cultural Missionaries, Christian Camp Directors, Christian Non-Profit Directors, Worship Pastors, Youth Ministers, and Professional Counselors (after graduate school). The Christian Ministry and Formation major provides an excellent foundation for graduate work in seminary, counseling, and other related fields.

University Core Curriculum - 45 hours
Program requirements satisfy 3 of the 48 hours in the Core Curriculum. - Three hours of the Arts and Humanities elective area are satisfied by one of the following: BBL 3413 , BBL 3423 , BBL 3433 , BBL 3443 , BBL 3453 , BBL 3463 , BBL 3473 , BBL 3613 , BBL 3623 , BBL 3633 , BBL 3663 .
Emphasis requirements may satisfy other Core Curriculum requirements. Courses Specified by the Division - 9 hours
One of the following:
An Old or New Testament Book Study Required Major Field Courses - 30 hours
Emphasis, Minor, Double Major or Electives
Students may choose to add an emphais, a minor or a double major of choice to their degree. An emphasis requires twelve unique hours from one of the following. Students who do not select an emphasis, a minor or a double major will fill their non-major requirements with electives. Students should consult with their advisor regarding these options.
